We are delighted to share some highlights from the recently concluded Miam Festival in Lausanne, also because for the first time, a Network member, Brussels, participated in this Festival as special guest, marking a significant milestone in the importance of our work.
The 6 th edition of the festival took place from May 18th to 20th 2024 attracted several tens of thousands of visitors, making it a grand success.
Some key figures:
about 50 stands featured vendors from within 100km of Lausanne, gastronomic events, live music, a menu featuring 100% local beverages.

And regarding the special Participation by Brussels, the city ran 5 stands (3 food stands, 1 entertainment stand, and 1 grocery stand), where artisans included local products in their recipes to foster synergies between the two cities.An example: special beer was brewed in collaboration between Lausanne's La Nébuleuse and Brussels' La Mule breweries.
We are particularly proud of the successful collaboration between Food Capitals. We encourage and look forward to more such collaborations in the future!
